1. Complete conventional anatomy and pathology testing for biopsy and surgical tissues.
2. All modalities of cytology testing.
3. Use of specific pathological testing required for modern diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutical orientation for neoplasic tumours such as immuno histochemical marking: phenotypes (for the histo genetic typification of indifferent tumours or those of unknown origins, and typification of hormone receptors and of other pronostical marking (cell proliferation index, oncogene expression proteins and suppressing genes identification of therapeutical targets, etc) together with molecular techniques such as PCR (for the detection and typification of papillomavirus, monoclonity demonstration and chromosome translocalizations for lymphoma, etc.).
4. Cancer prevention programmes. We offer the possibility of making an integrated diagnostic (both conventional and molecular) for gynaecological cervix and uterine cytology testing, including general cytology (PAP), and when proceeding, HPV (PCR), or p16 and 3q (PCR) gain detection, for the realization of the most complete studies as far as cervical cancer and pre-invasive cervix and uterine lesions treatment are concerned.
