The Haemodialysis Unit at Xanit Internacional is equipped with twelve stations for treatment of acute and chronic renal insuffiency. In addition to the haemodialysis tech-niques of high flow (high efficiency) other techniques are practised such as extra-renal haemofiltration, haemoper-fusion and haemodiafiltration.

The Nephrology, hipertensión and vascular risk consultation department

• Prevent, diagnose and treat all kidney and urine tracts diseases, Hydrelectrolitical and basic-acid equilibrium alterations.
• Prevent, diagnose and treat all arterial hypertension and all vascular risk factors. For such a treatment, we dispose of a 24 hours ambulatory arterial pressure monitorization system fitted with automatic devices. (M.A.P.A).

Haemodialysis and Hospitalization Service:

Our Haemodialysis Service is fitted with a doble water osmosis station allowing us to get a highly pure water and a highly pure dialysis liquid which is a very necessary asset to carry out some of the most advanced haemodialysis techniques we are able to offer such as the following:

• "On – line" haemodiafiltration
• Endogenous reinfusion "on-line" haemodiafiltration (HFR)

Thanks to the high quality of such a water treatment, we can carry out optimum high-flux and high-efficiency haemodialysis too together with any other kind of haemodialysis technique.

Such a service is ready to take as in patients all those in need of such an hospitalization in order to:

• Prevent, diagnose and treat severe renal failure: in cooperation with our Xanit Intensive Care Unit.
• Prevent, diagnose and treat all other renal pathologies, hydoelectrolitical and basic-acid equilibrium alterations, arterial hypertension and vascular risk factors that might need the patient to be hospitalized.
